My name is Rohullah, I am from Afghanistan and I have a passion – or rather obsession – for traveling. It started when I was a child. I loved the thrill of being on the road, of seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures. To me, traveling is all about learning about the history and culture of the places I visit, meeting the locals, experiencing their daily life.
During my trips, I enjoy discovering places that are on each traveler’s bucket list as well as the less known ones. I love meeting people, whether they are locals or other fellow travelers who want to share their anecdotes. I like backpacking, even though it may be exhausting at times. I enjoy Couchsurfing and hostels because they give me the chance to mingle with people so that I don’t feel like I am the only crazy traveler in the world. I find I always have something to learn from other people’s experience, it is great to share advice and even join paths for a while. I have friends all over the world, and one of my aims is to eventually visit all of them.
How I find inspiration
It’s easy! I have so many stories to tell, so much advice to give that ideas constantly come to my mind. I have a notebook where I jot down ideas and there are enough to keep the blog going for a long while.

What is this blog about?
I will never be done exploring this amazing world and on this blog, I wish to encourage others to do the same, whatever their age, status or budget. Watch out though! I am a very straightforward person and I will always give you my very own perspective on the places I see and the experiences I live, without ever sugarcoating my message.
I believe travelling is a wonderful way to learn about new cultures; it means crossing bridges, developing great friendships, sharing experiences, learning to survive and to help others. My wish and my mission are to inspire and help others to live great adventures, avoid a few tourist scams here and there, and make the most of their travels – not only financially!
